ABOUT ME

I am a caring, experienced Humanistic Counsellor, available to offer an effective, confidential service to adults.

I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, The British Psychological Society, and Associated Stress Consultants.

Having successfully completed a Psychology degree, I then chose to move into counselling. I have a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling and a Diploma in Advanced Psychotherapy. I also have a certificate in Brief Solution Focused Therapy and a Diploma in Life Coaching. In private practice, I have worked with a variety of issues, including: anxiety; stress; low self-esteem; relationship problems; lack of confidence; marital difficulties; mid-life crisis; personal development.

I have also worked in both custodial and community settings with clients who have drug and alcohol misuse problems.

I use a mixture of Person Centred, Gestalt, Existential and Cognitive Behavioural models of counselling, individually tailored to suit each client’s unique needs; what works best for them. Ideally I see clients once a week for I hour.

Fees £35.00 negotiable according to means.
